Baseball Recap: Volunteer Takes a Loss

Volunteer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 11-0 to the West Ridge Wolves. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-1 last Friday.

Volunteer's record is now 6-20. As for West Ridge, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-16 record this season.

Volunteer didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 15-3 win against Happy Valley on the 25th. West Ridge has also already played their next game (against Sullivan East), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
