Volleyball Recap: Emily Eades Key Part of Team Effort in Knights Win

Highlands Christian picked up another tournament win on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Carmichaels Mighty Mikes 2-1.

Highlands Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Emily Eades, who had ten digs and two aces. What's more, Eades posted two kills, the most she's had since back in October of 2024.

Eades wasn't the only good server: Highlands Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Highlands Christian now has a winning record of 3-2.

Coincidentally, Highlands Christian and Carmichaels will both be playing Klondike the next time they take the court. The Knights will head out to face the Cougars at 3:15 p.m. on Friday, while the Mighty Mikes will play them later in the day, at 4:30 p.m.
