Basketball Recap: Newton Takes a Loss

Newton lost against Boonton back in January of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Newton Braves fell 54-46 to the Boonton Bombers. The Braves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Newton's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Boonton, with the win, they broke their 13-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-3.

Newton has already played their next contest, a 57-37 victory against Pope John XXIII on the 30th. As for Boonton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 48-44 win against Kittatinny Regional on the 30th.
