Baseball Recap: Stephens County Comes Up Short

Stephens County blew East Jackson out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Monday East Jackson got their revenge. The Stephens County Indians fell just short of the East Jackson Eagles by a score of 7-5. It was the first time this season that the Indians let down their fans at home.

This is the second loss in a row for Stephens County and nudges their season record down to 10-3. As for East Jackson, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-7.

While Stephens County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:55 p.m. on Wednesday.
