Basketball Recap: Columbia County Christian Extends Winning Streak to 12

Columbia County Christian entered their tilt with Meadowbrook Christian on Tuesday with 11 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 12. They walked away with a 61-52 victory over Meadowbrook Christian. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 62-35 back in December of 2024.

Columbia County Christian was led to victory by Pierce Cughan and Eli Lenker. Cughan posted 24 points and six assists, while Lenker went 7 for 11 on his way to 22 points. The match was Cughan's 14th in a row with at least ten points. Sharyf Conklin was another key player, putting up seven points.

Columbia County Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 17 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.8 points per game. As for Meadowbrook Christian, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 10-9.

As for Meadowbrook Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Northumberland Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
