Baseball Recap: Dyer County Comes Up Short

Dyer County lost to Crockett County on Saturday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Choctaws might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 5-4 to the Cavaliers, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Dyer County's defeat dropped their record down to 27-12. As for Crockett County, their win was their 19th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 34-3.

Dyer County wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 6-4 victory against Lexington on the 9th. Crockett County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
