Football Game Preview: Cypress Creek Cougars vs. Memorial Mustangs + How To Watch

The Cypress Creek Cougars will square off against the Memorial Mustangs at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The timing isn't great for Cypress Creek: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while Memorial has snatched up three consecutive wins on the road.

Cypress Creek is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They claimed a resounding 47-13 win over Cypress Ridge. With the Cougars ahead 26-6 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Memorial ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They secured a 37-31 W over Cy-Fair.

Cypress Creek better keep an eye on Kade Gulledge. He was instrumental in Memorial's win, rushing for 164 yards and three TDs. Gulledge didn't just play on offense: he also picked up a sack and made two total tackles. Another player making a difference was Grant Sperandio, who threw for 190 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Cypress Creek's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Memorial, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.
