Softball Preview: Commerce Raiders vs. Springfield Renaissance
For the second straight game, Commerce will face off against Springfield Renaissance. The Raiders will challenge Springfield Renaissance at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Commerce is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 15 runs per game this season.
Commerce took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They put the hurt on Springfield Renaissance with a sharp 24-5 win. The victory was some much needed relief for the Raiders as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Adrianna Medina was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out 12 batters over five innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than ten strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with one double and one RBI.
