Basketball Recap: St. Bernard Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only St. Bernard walked away with it. They came out on top against the La Habra Highlanders by a score of 63-51 on Wednesday. Winning may never get old, but the Vikings sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead St. Bernard to victory, but perhaps none more so than Chris Rupert, who posted 14 points. Gary Ferguson was another key player, putting up 12 points.

St. Bernard's win bumped their record up to 18-11. As for La Habra, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 21-8.

Coming up, St. Bernard will face off against Inglewood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings will need to watch out since the Sentinels have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. La Habra does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
