Volleyball Recap: Fallbrook Comes Up Short

Fallbrook suffered their biggest loss since March 18th on Friday. They came up short against the Coronado Islanders, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Islanders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 last Saturday.

While Fallbrook was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Coronado's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-23, 29-27.

This is the second loss in a row for Fallbrook and nudges their season record down to 22-14. As for Coronado, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-11 record this season.

As of now, neither Fallbrook nor Coronado have any future games scheduled.
