Basketball Recap: St. Francis Takes a Loss

St. Francis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the Messmer Bishops 61-33. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Mariners have suffered against the Bishops since February 7, 2020.

St. Francis' loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Messmer, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

St. Francis has already played their next match (against Luther Prep), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Messmer wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 68-47 defeat against Lake Country Lutheran on the 3rd.
