It's playoff time, and Davison had no trouble coming through when it counted. They put the hurt on the Lapeer Lightning with a sharp 3-0 victory on Wednesday. The win continues a trend for the Cardinals in their matchups with the Lightning: they've now won six in a row.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Davison took every set by at least 13 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-10, 25-9.

Darby Crystal paced Davison's offense, picking up 15 kills. Crystal got some help from Berklee Stimson and her 19 assists. Makayla Naves controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Davison's victory bumped their record up to 31-7. As for Lapeer, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 13 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-25-2 record this season.

Davison has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Fenton on the 6th. Lapeer does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
