Softball Recap: South Allegheny's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

After flying high against Ligonier Valley last Thursday, South Allegheny came back down to earth. The Gladiators fell 9-4 to the Frazier Commodores on Tuesday. The loss was the Gladiators' first of the season.

Cameran Colecchi was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Emma Jackson, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Having lost for the first time this season, South Allegheny fell to 3-1. As for Frazier, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Allegheny will challenge Serra Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Frazier, they will take on Mt. Pleasant at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
