Soccer Game Preview: Plymouth Christian Academy vs. Inter-City Baptist

The Plymouth Christian Academy Eagles will square off against the Inter-City Baptist Chargers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Plymouth Christian Academy sitting on four straight wins and Inter-City Baptist on 11.

Plymouth Christian Academy's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Lenawee Christian, sneaking past 1-0.

Meanwhile, Inter-City Baptist got the win against Southfield Christian on Monday by a conclusive 4-0. Considering Inter-City Baptist have won nine contests by more than two goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Inter-City Baptist pushed their record up to 11-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 40 goals over those six games. As for Plymouth Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 10-4-2.

Plymouth Christian Academy took their win against Inter-City Baptist in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Chargers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
