After a string of three wins, Bethany Christian's's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a serious blow against Faith Baptist, falling 57-27. Bethany Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-10.
Amy Ahrens was her usual excellent self, dropping a triple-double on 14 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 steals for Faith Baptist. The matchup was Ahrens' sixth in a row with at least ten points. Morgan Burton was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with eight steals.
Bethany Christian's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Faith Baptist, they pushed their record up to 6-0 with that victory, which was their third straight at home.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Rochester Hills Christian the next time they take the court. Bethany Christian will head out to face Rochester Hills Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while Faith Baptist will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
