Volleyball Recap: Corsica/Stickney Has No Trouble Against Wessington Springs

Corsica/Stickney had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Wessington Springs Spartans as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Jaguars this season.

Corsica/Stickney never let Wessington Springs on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-13, 27-25.

Sophie Delange paced Corsica/Stickney's offense, picking up 15 kills. Delange got some help from Braylee Bordewyk and her 17 assists. Delange also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Hadynn Johnson, each putting up four.

Corsica/Stickney's win bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Wessington Springs, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-10.
