Basketball Recap: Mooreland Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Mooreland challenged Turpin on Saturday. The Mooreland Bearcats were dealt a 60-32 loss at the hands of the Turpin Cardinals. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Bearcats have suffered against the Cardinals since January 10, 2019.

Mooreland's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Turpin, their victory was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-1.

Mooreland didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 47-37 win against Beaver on the 16th. As for Turpin, they will venture away from home to face off against Texhoma at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Texhoma will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Turpin surely won't give up without a fight.
