Basketball Recap: Lindbergh's Victory on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Lindbergh entered their tilt with Inglemoor on Monday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 59-51 victory over the Inglemoor Vikings. This was a revenge game for the Eagles: when they faced off against the Vikings back in December of 2024, they had to take a 73-45 loss.

Despite the loss, Inglemoor still got an impressive performance from Aman Sterling, who went 7 of 16 on his way to 22 points along with five rebounds and five steals. Those five steals gave Sterling a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Reuhen Bhalod, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 14 boards.

Lindbergh's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-8. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.3 points per game. As for Inglemoor, their record now sits at 8-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lindbergh will take on Evergreen at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Inglemoor, they will challenge Shorecrest at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Inglemoor is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 67 points per game this season.
