Volleyball Recap: Shawnee Comes Up Short

Shawnee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Steeleville Warriors. If the Redskins were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Warriors when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-14.

Shawnee now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Steeleville, their win bumped their record up to 9-6.

Shawnee wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Century on the 23rd. As for Steeleville, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Sparta on the 24th.
