Softball Recap: Shiprock Takes a Loss

Shiprock fell victim to Gallup and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They came up short against the Bengals, falling 14-0. The Chieftains just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Shiprock's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Gallup, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-7 record this season.

Shiprock will challenge Miyamura at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Chieftains are facing the Patriots at the right time seeing as the Patriots are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Gallup, they will face off against Aztec at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Bengals surely won't give up without a fight.
