Basketball Recap: Kemp Comes Up Short

Kemp was the 67-62 winner over Brownsboro when they last played one another on January 3rd, but their luck changed this time around. The Kemp Yellowjackets took a 73-69 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Brownsboro Bears. The Yellowjackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kemp's loss dropped their record down to 11-19. As for Brownsboro, they pushed their record up to 13-14 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Kemp will venture away from home to face off against Canton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Brownsboro, they will host Athens at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Athens' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six games.
