Soccer Recap: Bryan County Comes Up Short

Bryan County's game on Tuesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell 2-0 to the Claxton Tigers. The Redskins were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 7-6.

This is the second loss in a row for Bryan County and nudges their season record down to 4-5. As for Claxton, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bryan County will face off against Screven County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Screven County will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Bryan County surely won't give up without a fight. As for Claxton, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Claxton face off against Portal at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Portal is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5.7 goals per game this season.
