The Bloomingdale Bulls will head out to face off against the Steinbrenner Warriors at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Bloomingdale knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight contests -- so hopefully Steinbrenner likes a good challenge.
Last Tuesday, Bloomingdale blew past Armwood, posting a 58-16 win. The Bulls have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 games by 38 points or more this season.

Bloomingdale's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Noelle Mengel, who went 7 of 13 en route to 17 points along with five rebounds and five steals. That's the most steals Mengel has posted since back in December of 2024. Jayla Griffin was another key player, going 6 for 8 on her way to 12 points in addition to six boards and four steals.
Meanwhile, Steinbrenner entered their tilt with Sickles on Tuesday with ten consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 11. They came out on top against the Gryphons by a score of 56-45.
Steinbrenner found their leader in sophomore Sarah Coble, who almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine rebounds. Coble has been hot recently, having also posted three or more steals the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Breanna Hartley, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 14 boards.
Steinbrenner pushed their record up to 22-1 with the win, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 20.8 points per game. As for Bloomingdale, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as Bloomingdale and Steinbrenner are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. Bloomingdale hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 66.4 points per game. However, it's not like Steinbrenner struggles in that department as they've been averaging 66.1 points. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can run the score up higher.
Bloomingdale didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Steinbrenner in their previous matchup back in November of 2021, but they still walked away with a 62-57 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bloomingdale since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
