Baseball Recap: Genesee Comes Up Short

Genesee lost against Potlatch last Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bulldogs came up short against the Loggers, falling 12-1. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Genesee saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Reggie Granlund, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one RBI. That triple was Granlund's first of the season.

Genesee's loss dropped their record down to 6-6-1. As for Potlatch, they pushed their record up to 10-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home.

Coming up, Genesee will welcome Prairie at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Pirates have averaged an impressive 13.1 runs per game this season. As for Potlatch, they will face off against Clearwater Valley at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
