Baseball Recap: Detroit Country Day Yellowjackets vs. Lamphere Rams
Detroit Country Day extended their losing streak to three on Wednesday, dropping their season record down to 7-7 in the process. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lamphere Rams. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Yellowjackets have suffered since March 25th.
As for Lamphere, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-6. Five seems to be a good number for they as the team scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.
For Lamphere's part, Aidan Grzsikowski was incredible, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most RBI Grzsikowski has posted since April 4th. Henry Whalen was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs.
