Basketball Recap: Oak Mountain Triumphs

Oak Mountain picked up another tournament win on Monday. They walked away with a 48-41 victory over the Sipsey Valley Bears. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Kasen Lemons was his usual excellent self, putting up 16 points. His afternoon made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Javon Stone, who posted seven points.

The win got Oak Mountain back to even at 4-4. As for Sipsey Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.

Oak Mountain will head out to square off against Spain Park at 7:30 p.m. on December 3. As for Sipsey Valley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hillcrest at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
