Volleyball Recap: Chavez Comes Up Short

Chavez saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Summerville Bears. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Chavez ultimately came up short, they really made Summerville work, particularly in the first set. The final score came out to 27-25, 25-10.

Chavez's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Summerville, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.

Chavez wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Leroy Greene Academy on the 23rd. As for Summerville, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Sierra at 6:00 p.m.
