Rossville skates past Kansas City Christian School with ease

The Rossville Bulldogs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They really took it to Kansas City Christian School for the full four quarters, racking up a 78-32 victory on the road. That looming 78-32 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Rossville yet this season.

Rossville's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mason Jones, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 13 rebounds. Those 17 points set a new season-high mark for him. Jakoby McDonnell was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 14 assists.

Rossville's win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-3. As for Kansas City Christian School, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rossville will face off against Silver Lake on Tuesday. Kansas City Christian School will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Cair Paravel at 7:30 p.m. on January 9, 2024.
