Kim/Branson came into Thursday's game looking for another win against Granada, but Angelo Martinez wouldn't allow it. The Bobcats walked away with a 64-51 victory over the Mustangs on Thursday for which the team can thank Martinez, who shot 4-for-4 from deep and dropped a double-double with 26 points and 14 rebounds. He is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 64% in the last four games he's played.

Kim/Branson's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Will Doherty, who shot 53% from the field on his way to 20 points and eight boards, and Trotter Watkins, who posted 16 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was Cooper Winter, who earned seven points in addition to eight boards and three steals.

The win made it two in a row for Granada and bumps their season record up to 13-4. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points over those games. As for Kim/Branson, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-9.

Granada wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 61-23 win against Bethune on the 19th. As for Kim/Branson, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 67-29 victory against South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett] on the 14th.
