Volleyball Recap: Page Comes Up Short

If Page was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Dudley on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Pirates lost 3-0 to the Southwest Guilford Cowboys on Tuesday. The Pirates haven't had much luck with the Cowboys recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Page was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-22, 25-20.

Page's defeat dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Southwest Guilford, they pushed their record up to 17-10 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home.

As of now, neither Page nor the Cowboys have any future games scheduled.
