Basketball Recap: Campbellsville Comes Up Short

Campbellsville lost against Metcalfe County back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Campbellsville Eagles lost 61-36 to the Metcalfe County Hornets. The matchup marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Campbellsville and nudges their season record down to 11-7. As for Metcalfe County, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Campbellsville will venture away from home to take on Taylor County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Metcalfe County, they will head out on the road to challenge Barren County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
