Volleyball Recap: Fairfield Takes a Loss

After flying high against Mt. Healthy last Monday, Fairfield came back down to earth. The Indians came up short against the Lakota East Thunderhawks on Thursday, falling 3-0. The game marked the first time this season in which the Indians were not able to get on the board.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-20, 25-13.

Fairfield's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Lakota East, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-2.

Coming up, Fairfield will be playing at home against Fairmont at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lakota East, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Princeton at 6:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
