Baseball Recap: Hazen Highlanders vs. Issaquah Eagles
If Hazen was riding high fresh off their 8-0 takedown of Mercer Island on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Highlanders fell just short of the Issaquah Eagles by a score of 3-2 on Saturday. The Highlanders haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.
Hazen got a good showing from Logan Grossnickle, who tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Grossnickle has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances.
