Volleyball Recap: St. Pius X Catholic Find Success

St. Pius X Catholic won the last time they faced Greater Atlanta Christian and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Golden Lions came out on top against the Spartans by a score of 2-0.

While St. Pius X Catholic won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-21.

Courtlyn Richard paced St. Pius X Catholic's offense, picking up seven kills. Richard got some help from Eveliina Campbell and her ten assists. Claire McEnaney controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

St. Pius X Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Coincidentally, St. Pius X Catholic and Greater Atlanta Christian will both be playing Providence Christian Academy the next time they take the court. The Golden Lions will head out to face the Storm at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Spartans will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
