Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Kanab walked away with it. They put the hurt on the North Summit Braves with a sharp 43-19 win on Saturday. The victory was familiar territory for the Cowboys, who have now won eight games in a row.

Brogun Virostko threw for 128 yards and three touchdowns. Latimer Glover was his top target, picking up 89 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. On the ground, Hayden Gubler rushed for 160 yards and a pair of scores on only eight carries.

Kanab's win bumped their record up to 10-1. As for North Summit, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6.

Coming up, Kanab will take on Beaver at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cowboys' defense better be ready for this one: the Beavers have averaged an impressive 36.7 points per game this season. North Summit does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
