After flying high against San Rafael on Tuesday, Redwood came back down to earth. The Giants fell just short of the Amador Valley Dons by a score of 2-1 on Friday. The Giants' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Redwood's loss dropped their record down to 18-4. As for Amador Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season.
