Baseball Game Preview: Westover Wolverines vs. Harnett Central Trojans

Westover is 0-8 against Harnett Central since March of 2022 but things could change on Friday. The Westover Wolverines will welcome the Harnett Central Trojans at 6:00 p.m. Westover has given up an average of 15.5 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.

Westover is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Tuesday. They lost 17-0 to Harnett Central. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

For Harnett Central's part, Zak Kerns looked comfortable as he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out eight over four innings pitched.
