Basketball Recap: Lincoln Comes Up Short

Lincoln and Gainesville squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Lincoln had to settle for second. They were beaten by the Gainesville Hurricanes 66-28. The contest marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Lincoln and nudges their season record down to 15-10. As for Gainesville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a massive bump to their 14-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Lincoln nor Gainesville have any future games scheduled.
