Crestview will face off against a team with plenty of momentum: Tate extended their winning streak to three on Thursday. The Aggies were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Escambia.
The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Tate was: they took every set by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-11, 25-9.
Meanwhile, Crestview came up short against Chiles on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Timberwolves recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.
The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-16, 25-7.
Tate will have to keep a close watch on Kelsey Griffin and Sara Robinson-Harmer, a pair of players who had a big impact on Crestview's prior game. Griffin had 16 digs and two assists, while Robinson-Harmer had four aces. Griffin is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last 18 games she's played.
Crestview's loss dropped their record down to 13-12. As for Tate, their win bumped their record up to 19-5.

However, it's not like Crestview struggles in that department as they've been averaging 6.8 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
