Rancho Verde had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Valley View Eagles. That's more bragging rights for the Mustangs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Rancho Verde's victory bumped their record up to 20-12. As for Valley View, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rancho Verde will face off against JW North at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Valley View, they will venture away from home to face off against Ramona at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. The Rams will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
