Soccer Recap: Sierra Comes Up Short

Sierra managed to keep up with Pueblo Central until halftime on Saturday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Stallions lost 9-1 to the Wildcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Sierra of the 10-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Sierra and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sierra will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Dakota Ridge at 4:00 p.m. on September 9. As for Pueblo Central, they will be playing at home against Woodland Park at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
