Recap: Julian Eagles vs. San Pasqual Academy Dragons
The Julian Eagles won the last time they faced the San Pasqual Academy Dragons, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Julian sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 54-51 win over the Dragons. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win Julian has posted against the Dragons since February 2, 2016.
Leading Julian to victory were Carlo Martinez and Pete Vanderstaay. Martinez scored 19 points, while Vanderstaay scored 19 points. Kenny Morytko was another key contributor, scoring six points.
Julian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season. As for San Pasqual Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.
Julian will head out on the road to face off against the Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. West Shores is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home. San Pasqual Academy will take on the Rams at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
