Basketball Game Preview: Hatch Bobcats vs. Oakwood Academy Mustangs

The Hatch Bobcats will take on the Oakwood Academy Mustangs at 1:30 p.m. on Monday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Hatch comes in on seven and Oakwood Academy on eight.

Hatch is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They beat Keith by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 64-61.

Meanwhile, Oakwood Academy beat Skyline 60-50 on Tuesday.

Oakwood Academy's win came from a few key players Hatch will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Austin Germono, who went 6-for-12 en route to 15 points and three steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last four games he's played. Jaiden Morton was another key player, putting up 14 points.

Oakwood Academy's win bumped their record up to 25-8. As for Hatch, their victory bumped their record up to 21-4.
