Brighton put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Royal Oak Ravens.

Cynthia Ockerman paced Brighton's offense, picking up seven kills. Ockerman were helped by Brier Skelton and Delaney Gilmore, who contributed nine assists each. Rachel Unsworth controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Brighton's win bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Royal Oak, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Brighton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Imlay City on the 23rd. After both having extra time off, Royal Oak and Lamphere will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on September 2.
