Soccer Recap: Timothy Christian Starts Season with Victory Against Montini Catholic

Timothy Christian gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Montini Catholic Broncos a 9-0 shutout. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Timothy Christian also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2022.

Their offense was hitting Montini Catholic from everywhere, as eight different players booted in a goal. Will Bechtel led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Timothy Christian will challenge Bishop McNamara at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Montini Catholic, they will take on St. Francis at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
