Football Recap: Waterloo Comes Up Short

If Waterloo was feeling good fresh off their 36-7 takedown of Deerfield last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Pirates took a hard 28-12 fall against the Marshall Cardinals on Friday. The Pirates have struggled against the Cardinals recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Waterloo's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Marshall, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-4.

As of now, neither Waterloo nor the Cardinals have any future games scheduled.
