Volleyball Recap: Jackson Has No Trouble Against Archbishop Hoban

Jackson barely beat Archbishop Hoban the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Polar Bears were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Knights on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Polar Bears in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won five in a row.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Jackson was: they took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-14, 25-12.

Austin Earlenbaugh was a one-man wrecking crew as he had six digs and four aces. That's the most aces he has posted since back in April of 2024.

Earlenbaugh wasn't the only good server: Jackson was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in eight consecutive matches.

Jackson's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-4. As for Archbishop Hoban, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-15.
