Basketball Recap: Tri-Center Comes Up Short

If Tri-Center was riding high fresh off their 83-52 takedown of Missouri Valley last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tri-Center Trojans were just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 57-56 to the IKM/Manning Wolves. The Trojans have struggled against the Wolves recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Tri-Center's loss dropped their record down to 8-3. As for IKM/Manning, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.

Tri-Center will square off against Shenandoah at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Tri-Center has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 217 points over their last three matches. As for IKM/Manning, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 54-47 defeat against Riverside on the 17th.
