Basketball Recap: Lake Park-Audubon Takes a Loss

Lake Park-Audubon lost against Ada-Borup back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lake Park-Audubon Raiders had to suffer through a 76-34 loss at the hands of the Ada-Borup Cougars. The match marked the Raiders' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

It was another big night for Austin McCraven, who went 8-for-10 on his way to 20 points in addition to eight assists and seven rebounds for Ada-Borup. McCraven is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last six games he's played. Another player making a difference was Mason Larson, who went 8-for-12 to rack up 20 points and five boards.

Lake Park-Audubon has been struggling recently as they've lost 15 of their last 16 games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-23 record this season. As for Ada-Borup, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-5.

Lake Park-Audubon wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 68-63 loss against Frazee on the 11th. As for Ada-Borup, they will square off against Sacred Heart at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Sacred Heart's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight contests.
