Basketball Game Preview: Lee Academy Cavaliers vs. Williamsburg Academy Stallions

The Lee Academy Cavaliers will square off against the Williamsburg Academy Stallions at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Williamsburg Academy took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Lee Academy, who comes in off a win.

On Tuesday, Lee Academy needed a bit of extra time to put away Conway Christian. They snuck past the Eagles with a 53-47 win.

Lee Academy can attribute much of their success to Karagan Melton, who posted 17 points, and Sara Bell, who put up eight points and 17 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ansley Nesbit, who earned two points and 11 rebounds.

Meanwhile, Williamsburg Academy lost to Thomas Sumter Academy on the road by a 44-28 margin on Tuesday. The Stallions have struggled against the Generals recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Lee Academy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Williamsburg Academy, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
